14th Battlefield to Vermont (B2VT) Ride

132 Miles | 8,475 Feet of Climbing

As we embark upon the 14th annual edition of the ride formerly known as the B2B, we have made a couple of significant changes to make the ride even more epic. There is a new name (B2VT), to better reflect the new starting point and new finishing venue. The course has been altered slightly to accommodate but still contains most of the same B2B course (but more hilly!). We can assure you that, as always, The B2VT Ride will be one tough ride.  By design, it is not for everyone.  This ride is for cyclists who are physically and mentally tough, don’t whine, excel in the face of challenges, know the rules of the road and can ride 130+ miles to the finish safely and without their hands being held. While it is an epic ride, it is not for novice riders nor the faint of heart…

This year, we have a new name but we will continue to preserve the spirit of the ride, though with a new starting point (Historic Battlefield Area of Lexington, Concord, Bedford, MA) and final destination (Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, VT). The course is slightly shorter than last year but even tougher. See the 2014 coursemap here. We expect the 2014 edition of the B2VT to be the best and most challenging ever!

Over the years, the  ride has raised substantial funds for charity.  Fundraising beneficiaries in 2014 will include Team Psycho’s Triathlon Development Program and a variety of other groups who help volunteer on ride day, including, the South Shore YMCA, Pan Mass Challenge, Boston Triathlon Team, and others, if you are interested in volunteering to raise money for your charity, please click here for more information.
